Apez

Approximately 3 weeks ago Apez developed a transaction processing “problem”.  When someone bought from an Apez vendor the money would be taken and the product delivered to the customer – which is good.  What it didn’t do was pass any commission onto the vendor owner or creator of the product.

Last week, the owners of Apez cleared a small amount  of the backlog of payments but not all.  There are a lot of people owed money from Apez and at the moment it is unlikely to be paid.  Some Second Life merchants have ARd the owner of Apez (Cenji Neutra) and the processing account (Apez Mann) for fraud.  Unfortunately that doesn’t help get the money back.  Cenji Neutra has said nothing about this issue except to post that they are looking for someone to take over the site. Apparently he has no intention of processing those outstanding payments and making sure everyone is paid.

If you are one of my affiliates you’ll have noticed they are offline.  I had to close them down to stop more people being ripped off by Apez.

I still haven’t worked out what to do about my affiliates yet.  I need to investigate the various other vendor systems available before making a decision and I’ll notify all my affiliates when I’m set up and ready to start again.

Apologies to everyone affected, particularly those affiliates who have commission payments still outstanding.  Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done except AR – we’re all out of pocket here.
